Rising 6th Grade Information:
6th grade related arts course descriptions and course offerings are located below.
Fifth grade teachers will recommend students for 6th grade classes in early Spring.
Students will “accept” these recommendations and choose electives as well as alternates during registration at their elementary school.
Registration letters will be sent home with students before the end of the school year for parents to sign and return to their school. (end of February)
Rising 7th and 8th Grade Information:
Rising 7th and 8th grade related arts course descriptions and course offerings are located below.
Sixth and seventh grade teachers will recommend students for 7th and 8th grade classes.
Students will participate in a registration prep lesson in their classes.
Students will “accept” these recommendations and choose electives as well as alternates during registration in February.
Registration letters will be sent home with students at the end of February for parents to sign and return to BECK if satisfied with courses.

Eighth grade teachers will recommend students for 9th grade classes at the beginning of February.
Students will fill out a registration card. They are expected to tell adults at home prior to registration.
Students will choose electives as well as alternates during registration at school with the school counselors.
Registration letters will be sent home with students at the beginning of March for parents to sign and return to BECK if satisfied with courses.
