WELCOME TO 2ND GRADE

I am so excited to be your child’s 2nd grade teacher this year! This year, my goal is to make everything we are learning fun and exciting in a warm, safe, and inviting environment. I love to develop relationships with each of my students though they will only share my classroom for a year. 

ABOUT ME

This is my eighth year teaching and third year in South Carolina. Before Woodland, I taught second grade in Chesterfield County, Virginia. I am so excited to be a part of the Wildcat family! I received my Bachelors degree in Communication Studies from Clemson University (Go Tigers!) and hold a Bachelors degree in Early and Primary Education from the University of Virginia. I am currently enrolled back at my alma mater for my ESOL endorsement. 

In my time outside the classroom, I love to spend time with my family, cook, and travel. A few of my favorite things are the color purple, Junie B Jones, Sour Patch Kids, and of course all things Clemson!
