I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! My goal is to create a joyful, engaging classroom where every student feels supported and challenged to reach their full potential. Every child brings something unique to our classroom, and I’m so excited to learn alongside them and help each one grow in their own way.
I was raised in Maine, but moved down to South Carolina for college. I graduated from Furman University with my bachelor's degree in elementary education in 2023, and I am currently working on getting my master's in teaching at the University of South Carolina.
I am so happy to be spending another great year at Woodland Elementary School in 2nd grade!
In the fall when I'm not at school, you might find me on the sideline of a Furman Football game! This will be my 7th season working with the team. Outside of school and Furman Football, I enjoy hiking, reading, and watching football (college, NFL, high school-- I'm not picky!). I also adopted a kitten in July, and she is quite a handful!
