Who is Welcome

As a community of the people of God, we are called to minister to all people of our world, knowing that the world is often an unloving place and can be a place of alienation and brokenness. Christ calls us to reconciliation and wholeness and challenges us through the Gospel to be agents of healing.

We, at Grace & Glory, are a Reconciling in Christ congregation. This means that we welcome all who are seeking God’s love and grace. Therefore, we affirm and welcome all, regardless of age, race or culture, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or relationship status. We also affirm and welcome all without regard to addictions, physical or mental health issues, imprisonment, socio-economic circumstances, or anything else that may divide us.

Our unity is in Christ.  So...

Come! Just as you are - in all your God-created splendor!

When is worship

We worship every Sunday morning at 10a at 11952 W Hwy 42 in Goshen. . Worship is followed by a time of Fellowship and, during the school year, Cross+Gen Sunday School. We also have frequent potlucks. Because that's who we are!

What to expect

We're a small congregation of about 35 members.  When we gather for worship, we do so to experience God's grace.  We hear this grace as stories from the Bible are read aloud and interpreted in light of current events and applied for daily living.  We taste this grace in the bread and wine of Holy Communion.  We touch this grace in the gestures of welcome from the people gathered together.

We invite everyone to come to worship as they are.  There is no dress code at Grace & Glory.  You will see others in the pews wearing suits and dresses, polo shirts and khakis, and T-shirts and blue jeans.

Our worship services are ancient and modern, cross+generational and liturgical, and last for about an hour. The songs we sing are accompanied by piano. On special Sundays, we often have special music sung or played by musicians in our congregation or from our community. We read God's holy Scripture every Sunday. We pray as God's people. We have open Communion at all of our services, so everyone is welcome to participate in God's holy meal. We use both wheat and gluten-free bread, which is offered with wine or grape juice.

What about kids

To parents of young children…

Relax! God put the wiggle in children! Don’t feel you have to suppress those wiggles in God’s house. If you join us for worship, here are a few pointers to help your kids feel welcome, too:
