Bread of Life Mobile Food Pantry

High percentages of the working poor, seniors, and those with physical challenges have a hard time getting to the grocery store, much less affording food.

We had a long-term dream to put our food pantry on wheels! In 2019, that dream became reality, thanks to the generous donation of a used bread truck that we converted to a mobile pantry. Bread of Life Mobile Food Pantry was dedicated pre-COVID in October 2019.

The pandemic impacted many things in our world and our mobile food pantry was one of them. Although we got off to a good start delivering to Spanish-speaking families working and living on nearby horse farms thanks to a bilingual volunteer, once COVID hit, all of our energy was directed to keeping our food pantry in operation for the many hungry. Then, our Spanish-speaking volunteer moved away.
