Refugee Family Sponsorship

In 2019, along with Third Lutheran, Louisville (now in shared ministry partnership with us) and in partnership with Kentucky Refugee Ministries, we welcomed a refugee family to the Louisville area from Eritrea. This husband and wife fled their homeland with family members in 2009 and landed in a refugee camp in Ethiopia for ten years until they were finally re-settled here in the U.S.

The pandemic put a damper on our efforts, but we're hoping to work together with Third and other sibling churches in our community to co-sponsor and help settle other families soon.
