Ethos Book Club

In the middle of the pandemic in 2020, we watched with horror the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis and the shooting of Breonna Taylor here in Louisville, among other similar shootings accross our nation.

We decided we needed to take a step to educate ourselves about past and present experiences of BIPOC communities in our world. So, along with Shiloh Methodist, our neighbor just down US Hwy 42, we started an online book club, entitled Ethos, to learn about these experiences, to challenge our own thinking, and to begin to understand what our siblings of color experience on a daily basis.

Ethos Book Club meets online every third Thursday of the month to discuss books by BIPOC authors and about the BIPOC experience. To get the latest information about what we're reading and when we'll discuss it, go to our Church Connect page and register.  Once you do, you'll get a Zoom link to join the discussion and help make change in our small corner of the world.
