While Azaka and Fegus continued to Portage the gear and get ready for the next phase upriver, the rest of the party followed their Anklyosaur friend into the jungle and past an ancient Shrine. With careful investigation the party discovered a secret door, which Jack popped open just as bone arrow sunk into the mossy wall. Riding a Skeletal Velocirapor, a wraith sent his ghouls and zombies to attack the party. All bore the Symbol of Ras Nisi. The Undead attacked too quickly to counter, and the party was foced into the Shrine where they were just able to slam the door closed behind them.
Hidden Shrine
The interior of the cave was carved to resemble trees and jungle, and they quickly revealed traps as the party moved down a sloped corridor. In the many statues along the walls hung an eagle's head with a braclet within its mouth. A Mage hand tried to pluck the item out, but it snapped shut before it had time. Later the party would pry it open and retrieve a Braclet of Rock Magic. Beyond the Doors a pair of Gibberibg Mouthers . The Mouthers guarded a potion of Hill Giant Strength and a Wand of Secrets
Bound Up River
The Party continued their difficult trek upriver and spent some time without a long rest. Eventually, Rachel Frizzel took over the navigation duties to allow Azaka some time to find a suiotable resting place. The timing was lucky, because the next day, the Wrait and his horde found you again. You aren't sure if they were tracking you of if it was happenstance, but the attack came as you travelled on foot towards Firefinger. Quick thinking had the party climb trees and launch missle attacks - specifically a use of Flesh to Stone on the wraith who fought off the spell long enough to do some damage, but it eventually turned to stone.
Firefinger
Too afraid of heights to ascend, Azaka sent the party up the ancient rop[e ladder. Overall, the tower was taller than 300' topped by a magical beacon. A few Pterafolk patrolled the skies, but didn't notice anything amiss. THe party met spiders and stirges enroute, and eventually climber to the 3rd level where an Arakokra named Nephyr was held captive by some elderly Pterafolk. Once freed, the party used Minor Illusion to call down the remaining Pterafolk who were eventually dispatched.
With treasure collected, and Azaka's Mask claimed, the party used Featherfall to escape the tower before the remaining patrols returned. Very thankful, Nephyr suggests you find your way to Kir Sabal (at somepoint) - a monestary high in the mountains. Perhaps you can convince his leader Ashara to perform the Dance of the seven winds which will grant you all the ability to fly for a week.
As Lyssa leads the dancing late into the night, Azaka has an important question for you; Now that the mask is recovered, where would you like to go? What exactly are you looking for?Azaka can lead you to the following places -

The gardens of Nangalore
This great garden of Nangalore was built to honor Zalkoré, a vain Omuan queen. Its builder, Thiru-taya, was Zalkoré's foremost general and consort. In their time, the garden was called Ka-Nanji, the Hanging Garden of Dreams.
Legends say that the Vain Zalkoré's bargained with a devil to retain her youth and beauty forever. TheDevil fulfilled the deal by transforming the queen into a twisted creature. When knowledge of her evil bargain spread through the realm, the army forced Zalkoré to abdicate and exiled her to Ka-Nanji, which became known ever after as Nangalore, the Garden of Lost Dreams.
It is said that Zalkoré still roams the gardens today. She cultivates hallucinogenic plants in the garden, because only in their narcotic, lotus dreams can she conjure up the face of her dead love
The story of Ataz Muhaha To the east is the laughing gorge. Crossing the gorge is an ancient bridge. In the middle of the bridge sits a great statue of the great God Ubtao. Anyone crossing the bridge must solve the maze on the statue, or ubtao himself will come to life and smite you!
