Lenzo and Lyssa's High-flying, Death-defying, Awe-inspiring High Wire Act (and musical) made a stop in Port Nyanzaru midway through its world tour. Unfortunately for Lyssa, it turned out to be the tour's last stop. Unfortunately for Lenzo, it was his last stop.
Now, Lenzo never fell from the wire. Never. Until he did. Lyssa stared, aghast, as she saw his first fall. His last fall. She watched as the man, the man who never fell, the very man who taught her the spell that would allow one to fall as lightly as a feather, fall like a stone.
By the time she got to him, it was clear that it was too late. It was also clear that he had something to say. Some final words. But his broken body would not allow him to find the breath. And he died, looking into her eyes, gasping, his words unsaid.
When Lenzo died, the show died as well. There was enough money for a couple weeks, but you couldn’t perform, and the riggers needed to be paid, but if there was no show…Maybe it was time to cut your losses and get out of Port Nyanzaru. Going through Lenzo’s things, you found an envelope with your name on it. Maybe thais had something to do with the secret. Inside is an ornate key - rusty and oversized in a very local style; with a skull in the shaft. With the little money remaining, you knew you had to speak to Lenzo after his passing, but clerics weren’t cheap, so you opted for the Church of Tymora - Goddess of Luck! It seems this new priestess Clara held a weekly raffle to bestow a boon upon a lucky petitioner. For a week you arrived at dawn and stayed until Clara made her choice. And today it was you! Clara had simply strode out the temple doors, surveyed the crowd and pointed right at you “ You!” she pointed “The Goddess of Luck smiles upon you!”. You proceeded to find your way into the temple where Clara sat you down and discussed your sister. With a coin placed face up in your palm, you chanted the words with Clara until….There was nothing. No sense of Lenzo, no sound of his voice. Clara was dumbfounded. “ I must tell Syndra” she muttered, before your concentration and confusion were interrupted by the screams ‘ Sister Clara! - Help!”
