At the heart of CRRP is ensuring that our selected resources are responsive and relevant to our students.
Here are some things to consider when making decisions about texts/resources for your students:
1) We invite you to consider if the needs of all students can be met through purchasing whole class sets of any resource.
2) We invite you to consider the importance of ensuring that students have access to a wide variety of resources representing varying skill levels and representing the different voices in your class community.
3) We invite you to visit the CRRP page on our Secondary Literacy Toolkit for some background information on the importance of planning from a culturally responsive and relevant perspective.
