THames Valley (TVEF) awards

TVEF Awards are awards offered to all TVDSB students. For most TVEF awards we can only submit ONE student application from Lord Dorchester. Please complete the Lord Dorchester Student Information sheet- this will allow the awards committee to help select LDSS Commencement Awards. More information will come in the spring

Tips for Writing Scholarship letters

When requesting a reference letter from a teacher, coach, boss, supervisor, etc it is helpful to give the referee as much information about the award or you as possible so that they can provide the best reference possible. This also means you need to give them adequate time in order to write it (ie don't ask the night before the application is due!) You can ask for a general reference that you could use for multiple awards as well. Here are a few documents to help:
