Missions
Frequently Asked Questions
Missions are additional opportunities to earn, most commonly by completing a certain number of deliveries in a set period of time or by getting a boost on each order. Missions are periodically offered to eligible delivery partners in the Earnings tab of their app, where they’ll need to “Start Mission” in order to participate.
What do I need to do to participate in a Mission?
In order to participate in a Mission, you first need to go into your driver app, click the Mission you want to join, and click Start mission.
You’ll need to actively start a Mission before it’s over, or else you’ll miss out on rewards. Only deliveries completed between the time you've opted in to the mission and the mission's end time will count toward your progress.
To start a Mission:
Go to the Earnings tab in the app
Toggle to Available missions
Click on the Mission you’d like to start
Click “Start Mission”
Note: It’s not guaranteed that you’ll receive new Missions every week. Missions are personalized and based on driver trends and app usage in your area.
When a new Mission is available to you, you can find it in the Earnings tab of your app under the Available toggle. For those who are opted into push notifications for Gopuff Driver (in your device settings), you’ll also receive a push notification every time a new Mission is available to you. You can view details about your active Missions by clicking into each Mission in your Earnings tab.
To receive notifications about new Missions, you'll need to make sure you're opted into push in your device settings. Go to your device Settings --> Notifications --> Gopuff Driver --> Enable All Notifications.
If you’re eligible to participate in a Mission, you’ll see that Mission presented to you in the Mission portal in your Earnings tab. Remember, you must actively opt in to the Mission before the Mission is over, which you can do by toggling to Available missions and clicking Start Mission. Missions are personalized, so it’s possible that two drivers who deliver from the same facility will see different Missions available to them at any given time.
Yes, the boosts that you received in the past are now Missions. This means you can now track your progress towards boosts straight from your Earnings tab, so you’ll always know how much you’re earning in real time. Please note that like all Missions, you will now need to opt into boosts in order to start earnings towards them. You can do this by clicking Start Mission in the app
Where can I see my active Missions?
You can see your active Missions in two places: on the Home tab and the Earnings tab in your app. If you want to see what additional Missions are available to you, you can toggle to “Available” on the Earnings tab. To see your full Missions History, click Missions History on the Earnings tab.
What happens if I don’t complete a Mission I’ve started?
If you don’t complete the specified requirements for the Mission you started, you will not earn the reward for that Mission. You are not required to complete a Mission you’ve started, and there is no penalty for not doing so.
