Equipment Crib

WHAT IS THE EQUIPMENT CRIB?

The equipment crib contains a number of pieces of equipment that can be checked out by different teams and clubs in the program. This equipment can often significantly reduce the cost barrier-to-entry for many teams.

To see what equipment is available and how to check it out, visit the tool crib site here:

WHAT IF THE TOOL I NEED ISN'T AVAILABLE?

If the tool crib does not contain something that your team needs, speak with the Academic Director. There may be budgets available to acquire equipment that can be added to the crib after use and made available for future teams. This may only apply to general equipment; specialized tooling will need to come out of project budgets.

ETHICAL CARE FOR EQUIPMENT

The tools you use from the tool crib are valuable to other teams and future classes. Damaging or losing tools and equipment will have a meaningful impact on future students in the program. Teams must be sure to take care of the equipment that they check out not only for the direct repercussions, but the impacts to future students who may need that same tool.
