Cooperative Education is a course that will be the part of every curriculum in BUUIC as the Major Elective subject (ME). which is equivalent to 6 credits as followed:
For Student ID 59-63:
Programme: BBA, HOS, LOG, BA 95349559 Cooperative Education (สหกิจศึกษา) 6 Credits
Programme: BFA 98043159 Cooperative Education (สหกิจศึกษา) 6 Credits
For Student ID 64-65:
Programme: BA 95249564 Cooperative Education (สหกิจศึกษา) 6 Credits

Programme: HTM 95749564 Cooperative Education (สหกิจศึกษา) 6 Credits

Programme: SLSM 95949564 Cooperative Education (สหกิจศึกษา) 6 Credits
Students should have GPAX at least 2.50
Students should earn credits at least 66 credits.
Students must attend the Career Planning Program
Students are required to work as fulltime employee of the company according to the nature of business for at least 16 weeks therefore students are not allowed to register in any course during that semester.
The cooperative education course is evaluated according to the evaluating of curriculum standard. Course evaluation will be graded “S” (Satisfactory) and “U” (Unsatisfactory). The evaluation criteria will be as followed:
Supervisor's Evaluation 50%
Cooperative Education Report 20%
Cooperative Education Poster 10%
Cooperative Education Advisor 20%
Total 100%
The grade of “S” (Satisfactory) will be given to students with 70% mark and above.
Find a company from a list or by your own choose that to located in Eastern of Thailand or not far from that.
Complete CO-01 with the approval from parents and prepare these following documents.
1-2 inches photo attached on the first page of CO-01
A copy of latest transcript
If student not qualified for apprentice, the students must get an approval from the instructors* in charge of his/her department.
Complete CO-02 form by adding the company details, signed by the instructors* in charge of his/her department.
Submit all documents (item no. 2-4) to the Educator* in charge of his/her department.
Students contact the Educator* in charge of his/her department to get the BUUIC request letter and send it to the company.
Once the company received the requested letter, the company might require an interview with the student. After the interview (if there is any), the company will send a letter of acceptance to BUUIC. In case of refusal, the students will need to contact another company. Students can apply to one company per time. If a student gets rejected, he/she will need to get another letter from BUUIC and he/she will need to submit a new CO-02 form.
Students must enroll the Cooperative Education course at reg.buu.ac.th during the registration period.
Students must attend the Career Planning program in order to get prepared before the Cooperative Education taking place. The date and time for the program will be announced later.
Students take the introduction letter from Educator* in charge of his/her department and submit it to the company on the first day of his/her apprentice.
*Remarks: Please see more information in the last section of page "The Contact Person in charge of the department".
Show an introducing letter to company on the first day of apprentice.
The company’s HR staff, or the Job supervisor will have to complete CO-03 form within 1-2 weeks of the apprentice.
Students check the CO-OP Advisor and contact to your advisor within the third week of the apprentice.
During the apprentice period, students must complete CO-04 and CO-05. If the company requires the student to stamp the attendance on their working attendance form, students can use company working attendance form instead of CO-05.
Submit the Student Evaluation Form (CO-EV) to your CO-OP Advisor.
Submit the CO-OP Report and Poster, schedule a meeting with your advisor to present the cooperative education project/report.
