IB Mark scheme

Ib Mark Scheme

In the IB program, marks are on a scales from 1-7 (7 being the highest). Students will receive a mark for each class they are taking. At the end of grade 12, a student's final Diploma result score is made up of the combined scores for each subject. The Diploma is awarded to students who earn at least 24 points (subject to certain minimum levels of performance including successful completion of the three essential elements of the IB Diploma Core).

The TOK and EE, from the DP Core, are awarded individual grades and together can earn up to 3 additional points towards the overall Diploma score. CAS does not contribute to the points total but authenticated participation is a requirement for the award of the Diploma.
