Dictation Sentences: Read 2 sentences a day for your student to write. Don't let them just copy them! The idea is for them to listen and sound out words, capitalize the first word, form letters correctly, write neatly, put finger spaces between words, spell sight words correctly, and use the proper punctuation at the end of each sentence. This is a culmination of all your student should know about writing and they should be able to do it on their own. Mistakes will be expected and that's ok! (Please allow a sight word list to be available so they can spell those words correctly--the other words can be sounded out and it's ok if they are done in "kid spelling" 😉) See a picture of my examples below.
Take pictures of completed sentences to post in your student's Class Dojo portfolio. Also, video record your student reading the whole week's completed sentences back to you and post that in their portfolio as well.
2. Handwriting Without Tears Book: Complete pages 57, 61, 72, 73, and 78 this week to practice correct letter formation. Try for one page per day. Follow along with my videos below.

Practice adding and subtracting with numbers to 5 (2+3, 5-3, 2+1, 4-1, etc.) Use the flashcard slides I've added below.
Practice all the ways we know how to count to 100, recognize numbers 0-31, and understand teen numbers. Use flashcard and video resources provided here and on the Everyday Practice pages.
