I know college can be hard at times; sometimes you just want to procrastinate and get it done at a later time. Doing that will end up hurting you more than helping you so I have some tips that can help you stay more productive. The first tip that I have is to make a to-do list for each day of things you need to finish or start. Doing this can help you not forget to turn in quizzes or homework and remind you to study for upcoming exams. Another tip that I have is to find a time that is best for you to work. Some people work better at night, while others work better early in the morning. It can free you from distractions if you pick the right time. Also where you study is essential. For example, I study best in my room in the dark with my lamp on. Others may study best around others, like in a library. It is all up to your personal preference and what won't distract you. The next tip is to silence your phone or go on do not disturb. This can help because a lot of students get distracted by social media and texting their friends. Yes, you should have breaks and can check them but try to at least go an hour without checking your phone so you can understand what you're being taught. One of my last tips is to have discipline and be consistent. If you don't have discipline, then you will just become a procrastinator and not do your work to the best of your abilities. Also being consistent is very important to grasp the material. If you were to study something once a week, you would not grasp the concept. After being told all these tips, I hope they will help you just as they have helped me.
