College is not exactly a a breeze. Each person has their own set of unique challenges that can make class, an internship, or any other college setting more difficult. I want to state a unique challenge I have faced in college and how I have overcome it. The challenge that I have faced is not getting good grades on quizzes and tests the beginning of the year. I thought college would be similar to high school and I could study the same way but that was wrong. I had to completely change my study habits and study longer and harder. I went from looking over my work to studying for about two hours at a time. I started doing practices quizzes, looking over homework, looking back at class notes and that really helped me. Another challenge I could talk about that my friend faced is making new friends. It can be hard and intimidating to make friends in college, so what she did was stepped out of her comfort zone and got involved. She got in different clubs and started doing a sport. It really helped her stop being as shy and meet lots of new and diverse people. College can be a big leap for some people and you will come across struggles but with the right people and help you can overcome them.
