The articles of association of StuBio were drawn up on the basis of the participation regulations established by the board of Ghent University and student representatives on that board. These articles of association form the basis for the other regulations of the faculty student council and therefore take precedence over all other regulations.
The articles of association set out the most important rules and principles governing StuBio's operations. The articles of association are the most important document and take precedence over all others. To emphasize the importance of the articles of association, they can only be amended by a two-thirds majority.
There are various types of student representatives (stuvers) at the faculty. There are stuvers who are elected every two years and are a member of the the faculty council (FR stuvers), stuvers who are active within a faculty student council (FSR stuvers), those who are members of a committee (committee stuvers), with the special case of the program committee (OC stuvers), and then there are the year and major representatives. These protocols have been drawn up to clarify what each stuver does. We want to clarify not only the tasks involved, but also how these students are assigned these roles.
