With the debut of Jeopardy! Bar League, we’re working hard to get the word out about this brand new era of Jeopardy! and how they can get in on the action. Our Marketing team has designed posters, promotional materials and digital graphics to support our individual venues and other events. Even though they do a great job, you can help too!
While it’s not mandatory to use these assets or even post at all, promoting your event is important to build up an audience and create a community of regulars. Your passion is contagious, and can take your game night from a weekly event to a lasting part of your venue’s community and culture. We highly encourage you to promote your Jeopardy! Bar League event on your own social media accounts.
Please note: unique pages with “official” Jeopardy! branding should never be created without oversight from the Geeks Who Drink marketing team. If you have questions, please contact marketing@geekswhodrink.com.
The easiest way to promote your event is to simply create a text post with your event details, but we also have Jeopardy! approved digital graphics you can use to make the perfect post. Don’t forget to tag or mention our official Geeks Who Drink pages on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok—this way we can interact with your post, boost engagement, and share with our followers.
Remember, when you post online, you’re not just representing Geeks Who Drink. Jeopardy! Bar League is part of Jeopardy!’s legacy as America’s Favorite Quiz Show®, and licensed by Sony Pictures Television. Inappropriate slang, ironic hate speech, and political commentary are not acceptable. Please be conscientious when promoting.
Click Here to access the available social templates for Jeopardy! Bar League. There are square assets for use as static feed posts, and vertical assets for use on Instagram or Facebook stories.
Go to our website, find your venue, and then copy or download the logo displayed. That's really it.
Using an editing tool, fill in the blank space with the details of your event. You can include the venue location, date & time of your event, and tag the venue itself in the post. Just to prove you don't need fancy tools to do this, here's a gif of how to create a social media post using MS PowerPoint. Other tools you can use include Photoshop, Canva, or even editing within your social app.
If you're adding text through a social app, keep the text legible and color coordinated. If you're feeling fancy and customizing things, please stick to our brand guidelines when possible:
Fonts:
Swiss 921 BT Regular (download here)
ITC Korinna Std Bold (download here)
Colors:
Blue: #18499C
Gold: #F3A71D
If you want to create a Facebook Event, please reach out to qmsupport@geekswhodrink.com so that we can partner with you on the details.
Once you've gotten approval, you can invite all your friends, family, and friends from high school that you don't really talk to anymore but you don't want to unfriend them because it would be awkward.
