Role Models:
Personal, Cultural, Career
The focus of our inquiry this year was exploring the Career Life Exploration 10 and Career Life Connections 12 curriculum through the lens of personal, cultural, and career role models. Framing the first half of the year around finding role models, and the second half around becoming role models, our inquiry allowed our students to learn from others’ journeys, while exploring how their own gifts and passions can help to create the futures that they want for themselves.
Four Directions Secondary would like to acknowledge all of the incredible community support we received throughout this school year. We thank all of the cultural educators, knowledge keepers, family and community members who generously shared their teachings and stories with our students and helped shape and inspire their learning along the way.
