The link above will guide educators with an example of how the Stewardship 12 course was designed and implemented. The purpose of sharing this Google classroom is to provide a starting point for other educators who are interested in creating and/or implementing a similar course. The content was created to share with others, but it is acknowledged that such a course should be designed around the specific Indigenous lands, protocols and teachings on which the local school resides. It is highly encouraged and necessary to build partnerships and connections within the local Indigenous community and local Indigenous educators to collaboratively design and implement such a course. Educators are welcome to build upon, redesign, and use the provided resources in order to best educate their students to become environmental stewards and caretakers of the land.
