Jackie works at the Tk'emlúps Indian Band Secwépemc Museum and Heritage Park and School District #73 as a Cultural Educator.
Jackie holds an Advanced Secwepemctsín language proficiency certificate, awarded from Simon Fraser University, and from their Tk'emlúps fluent elders panel-cohort. Jackie continues to pursue working towards her linguistics diploma.
Jackie has been an essential collaborator in developing and implementing the Stewardship Program at Four Directions Secondary this year. Jackie engages the students with valuable cultural materials, educational programs, and provides traditional ecological knowledge to students, teachers, schools, and for future generations.
