GUIDE:

For Week # 3 we will be exploring the natural world. You will watch a series of video and write a reflection about each video..

  1. Watch and understand the information in "What Happens if You Cut Down All of a City's Trees" and "Deforestation in Amazon soars to highest in decade" videos to help you with questions # 1-3.

  2. Watch and understand the information in "Three Decades of Earth Seen From Space" to help you with questions #4-5.

  3. Watch and understand the information in "When Trees Meet Buildings" to help you with questions #6-8.

  4. For #9-10 your answers will be based on your own opinion.

  5. Be sure to answer in complete sentences and correct paragraph format.

  6. Make sure your writing is about how you understand the videos and its messages.

  7. Add explanations and reasoning to your understanding. (Example: This video is about _______________ because __________________.)

  8. Turn in all completed assignments to Ms. Rivera. If it is photo, please sure make it is clear under proper lighting.

  6. Explain what you understand from the video "When Trees Meet Buildings"

  7. Did you know or have heard about any of these buildings before watching the video "When Trees Meet Buildings"

  8. On the video "When Trees Meet Buildings" what scientific process do you think or know that the engineers use to design these buildings?

  9. In your own opinion, do you think we, as an entire human population, are taking care of the world?

  10. Explain your reasoning to your answer for #9 using at least 1 paragraph.
