Buenas students,
For the next two to three weeks, we will be focusing on the story Rikki-Tikki-Tavi by Rudyard Kipling, which is a classic 7th grade story. There are some animal characters that you may not be familiar with. Please look them up so you know what they are like. Refer to the weekly plan. If you would like to be included in zoom classes, please let me know so I can send you the link. For this, you would need access to your gdoe student email address.

Vocabulary
Read and study the vocabulary words for the story. You may take notes if you wish. Study the word, part of speech, definition, and how it is used in a sentence. You will eventually be tested on them.

This is an explanation of how to fill out the vocabulary worksheet assignment. The explanations are written in red. There are three examples on this page. When you write your sentence, use the word's correct part of speech.

For the Anticipation Guide, read the statement. Write if you agree or disagree and then explain why. Using an example would help your explanation.

Read the story "Rikki-Tikki-Tavi" by next week's zoom class. Be prepared to discuss the events of the story. You may need to review plot diagram from the second week.
