Students Stories of Learning

Active learning within a group setting is very important to both students and teachers in GCL. Students are engaged when they are set challenges and together they solve problems and reach set goals. Our students enjoy expressing their learning through a variety of methods. For example, our students use Stop Motion Animation to show their understanding of  complex concepts. Students can use modeling to describe a process in a way that a static diagram cannot show.

In GCL Communication and collaboration has been enhanced as technology as improved. Our students collaborate with their peers and teachers with ease, sending work and receiving feedback enriched with audio and video content. Our students use Numbers to present project and collaborate on science experiments as Anna describes in the video above.
