Data Analysis
Data Analysis
It was not that difficult to analize the data in the qualitative part since most of the answers of the participants are identical, so the information was easily interpreted. Although, there were also difficulties in the data analysis, we had trouble regarding the availability of the particioants, since our schedules are packed and the student participants are also busy we had to devise a plan that would be suitable for both the interviewer and the interviewee. Another thing is that the information provided by some of the participants were repetitive, it was not a bad thing but we had hoped that there will be something new to add to the study. Lastly, I think we could have add more follow up questions for the participants since most of the answers are not elaborated that much. All in all, I think it was worth the trouble to put all our effort into this study, it was also fulfilling for me as the main leader of the research group to obsetve how my team is working together, communicating, and doing their best for this study.
I would say that my experience in doing data analysis is unique. People in my group lend a helping hand when it's needed and they all work together entirely. Everyone worked hard, did their task and was able to conduct their research and analyze their data correctly. Even though this is my first time doing research, it is worth it. My group was able to make my experience a great one and I was able to learn so much more thanks to them and they opened my eyes about many ways in doing research in our daily lives. For me the hardest part is conducting research and asking people to do our survey. It is hard to make questions that will greatly provide for our group and our research, or a positive effect that will give us the right information that contributes to our group in general. Finding a person that is willing to do an interview is also a hard part. Thanks to my group, they were able to help each other out to find people that are willing to do an interview and able to do the survey for us. What makes research worth it, is the one where everyone in the group really learns about it.
