For Performance Task 2, which involves providing support by being a volunteer tutor, it is not applicable to my context because all of the students I handle no longer require auxiliary services. As a result, I was not able to participate in this task.
Insights:
Participating in local webinars made me realize how valuable it is to stay updated with current trends in education, especially those that directly affect Filipino learners and classrooms. These sessions often reflect our local context and provide practical approaches I can apply immediately.
I’ve learned that even short webinars can have a lasting impact on my mindset as an educator. Whether it’s about mental health, classroom management, or technical writing, each one adds a layer to my understanding and helps me become more responsive to my students’ needs.
I now understand the importance of building connections through these local events. Hearing experiences and insights from fellow teachers and students across the country reminds me that I’m part of a bigger learning community that shares the same goals of growth and excellence.

Teaching is not just a profession—it’s a lifelong journey of learning, unlearning, and adapting. By reflecting on my strengths and acknowledging the areas where I still need to improve, I gain a clearer picture of who I am now and who I want to become. This plan allows me to set concrete, achievable goals that are rooted in my personal values and teaching philosophy.
Being intentional with the opportunities I pursue—whether it’s attending training, joining educational communities, or practicing specific strategies in the classroom—ensures that I am not just going through the motions, but growing with purpose.
