Hello Everyone!

For those of you I haven’t met yet, I’m Hayley Turner – your new Student Experience Co-ordinator. I started working at the college in December last year. My role involves organising fun events, extracurricular clubs as well as working on engaging the Student Voice and getting your opinions heard. We’ve got lots of exciting events coming up this year and would love for you to get involved as a college community!!

Spanish Club

New Spanish Club at West Durrington, run by our fabulous LSA (and native Spanish teacher) Maria Sabtonja Felguera!!

Open to both staff and students and will be begin on Wednesday 27th March from 12.00 until 13.00 in WD212 (Catering). It will be great to see some of you there! 

The Northbrook Theatre stages over 30 shows a year, ranging from innovative drama and dance to exciting musicals and rock concerts.The Theatre is a training venue for performers, technicians and production students. It is located at the colleges West Durrington campus, Worthing and seats 160 in conventional format and up to 300 in concert mode. 

Staff and students tickets are FREE for all performances. A ticket needs to be booked through www.northbrooktheatre.co.uk and there is a password assigned to each show.

You must show your MET ID if you have booked a free ticket.

Free tickets for staff and students are very limited for evening performances.

Have you thought about volunteering?

The Concordia Youth Action programme blends online & face to face volunteering that supports young people in Sussex to engage with their local community. 

The programme is accessible for anyone age 14 to 19 in Sussex, and we would love to offer this opportunity to your young people at the MET to get involved. They blend online & face to face volunteering that supports young people in Sussex to engage with their local community.

 The CYA programme is delivered every Wednesday at 5:30 to 7pm.
