Parent Participation and Experiences

Garden Nursery School is entirely run by parents,  two classroom teachers and  our program director. Parental participation is essential. Parents volunteer in many aspects of the of school; from assisting in the classroom, giving tours, raising funds, being an officer on the board, or any of the small tasks it takes to run the school. Every family is a member of our school and gets a vote when deciding community decisions. The benefit of being a member really allows a family to get to know not only other parents, but the other children their child becomes close to. This type of community is wonderful for those who are searching for a place that feels safe and family oriented for their child's first experiences of school.
