Tuition and Fees

Fees

A non-refundable fee of $55 is due with each application. 

If your child is admitted and you decide to enroll, a registration fee of $500 is due with your contract. This deposit will be reimbursed to you at the end of your child's year at Garden Nursery School. If you withdraw prior to completing the school year, this deposit will be retained by GNS as a withdrawal fee. 

Upon withdrawal prior to Jan. 1 of the designated school year, you will also be responsible for prorated tuition and fees through (a) six weeks after departure date or (b) the date on which a new family assumes the open slot, whichever comes first.

Upon withdrawal on or after Jan. 1 of the designated school year, you will be responsible for prorated tuition and fees through (a) the end of the designated school year or (b) the date on which a new family assumes the open slot, whichever comes first.

Tuition 

Tuition is paid in three installments. Below you will find current tuition rates. Rates for the upcoming school year are finalized by the Board of Directors during budget meetings in early May.

2023-2024 Tuition yearly rates are:

• 2 day/week: $6,489

• 3 day/week: $9,023

• 5 day/week: $14,564

Please note that, based on budget projections for the following school year, there can be 0-10% increase in rates each year. 

Extended Play and Early Bird Programs

Both the Extended Play and Early Bird programs are taught by the GNS classroom teachers. 

Families may register for one or more days for the school year or request to drop-in on a daily basis as space allows for either of these programs.

Extended Play

• Extended Play runs from 1-3pm every day, Monday-Friday.

• The cost of Extended Play for the 2022-2023 school year is $40/day.

Early Birds

• Early Birds is for children who need to arrive at school between 8:30-9:00 am. It is available every day.

• The cost of Early Birds for the 2021-2022 school year is $12/day.
