OPEN TRIALS

Open trials registration is scheduled in week 1 of the new school year. All students from the college are welcome to register for the trial. Should there be unforeseen circumstances and a student is not able to participate in the scheduled trial, please email dover.gymnastics@uwcsea.edu.sg and we will schedule their trial on a different date. Students are encouraged to sign up vis CIMS.

KINDER DEVELOPMENT SQUAD


For aspiring students and new students joining the school. The Kinder Development Programme focuses on building strength, flexibility and discipline. The programme prepares gymnasts' physical abilities and builds core skills needed for our Competitive Programme. 


Required training commitment:

3 hours training per week

JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT SQUAD


For aspiring students and new students joining the school. The Junior Development Programme focuses on building strength, flexibility and discipline. The programme prepares gymnasts' physical abilities and builds core skills needed for our Competitive Programme. 


Required training commitment:

6 hours training per week

JUNIOR COMPETITIVE TEAM 

WAG Level 3 & 4 / MAG Level 1 & 2 


For aspiring students in Grade 2 to Grade 6 with at least 2 years previous experience in the Gym School, Competitive or similar programmes. 


Required training commitment:

9 hours training per week (WAG Level 3)

12 hours training per week (WAG Level 4)

7 hours training per week (MAG Level 1)

9 hours training per week (MAG Level 2)

SENIOR DEVELOPMENT & COMPETITIVE TEAM 

WAG Level 5 to 7 / MAG Level 3 to 6 & FIG Jr 


For gymnasts in Grade 5 and above with at least 3 years previous experience in the Competitive or similar programmes. 


Required training commitment:

13.5 hours training per week (WAG Sr Dev/WAG Level 5/MAG Level 3)

17 hours training per week (WAG Level 6+/MAG Level 4+)

CLOSED TRIALS

Students are selected by a their coach to try out at the end of season 4 in June. A student must be enrolled in our gymnastics programme in order to be selected. When students are selected, they will receive an invitation from the Phoenix Gymnastics department and will be informed of the date and time of the scheduled trial. The trial is usually done at the last week of school.
