Dear Climbers, Coaches and Coordinators,
It gives us great pleasure to announce that UWCSEA will be hosting another instalment of the SEASAC Phoenix Climbing Invitational Competition. This page will hold essential event and coordination information for parents, staff and students.
For the academic year of 2024/25, we wanted to expand and deepen the positive experiences offered in the previous year's competition simulation. The bouldering-focused competition format (qualifying rounds, semi-finals and grand finals) was well-received, and there was a general desire from all guests to participate in a broader range of competition events.
This year’s event will therefore feature the following elements:
Three new event categories that are based on participants' experience and skill-level - Novice, Intermediate and Open.
Multiple rounds for every category for more fun, challenges and learning opportunities. Qualifiers progress to the next stage of their respective events while non-qualifiers progress to a Redemption Round.
A broader range of prizes for category winners across all skill-levels.
[July 2025] UPDATE - Full competition results now available here.
