UWCSEA (Dover Campus)
The UWCSEA Phoenix Climbing programme is a part of the UWCSEA Dover Sports & Activities division, delivered by a specialist in-house department of expert sport climbing coaches, united by a single passionate belief - that our sport is a lifelong life-changing adventure accessible to learners of all ages and levels. Through a robust collection of progressive classes and seasonal events, our programme aims to instil the Phoenix Spirt in everyone we climb with.
Here at UWCSEA, climbers will have the opportunity to learn so much more than just belaying skills and climbing techniques. Our coaches actively helps every learner to acquire a sense of personal responsibility, hone their safety awareness and improve their self-confidence.
We also integrate the principles of Long-term Athlete Development (LTAD) into our programme design, actively facilitate collaborative learning through meaningful challenges and offer a range of learning pathways. By taking this approach, we engage each learner at a level that fits their interest and ability level in order to foster the foundations of an active healthy lifestyle, seed personal development and pave the way for them to discover sport climbing as a lifelong passion.
Our diverse climbing programmes offer something for everyone - from K1 to G12, all ages and abilities. Whether you are a beginner seeking your first vertical challenge, or an experienced climber pushing your limits, climbing at UWCSEA offers a range of pathways and plenty of opportunities to blend physical challenges with personal growth under the expert guidance of our certified Coaches.
