LEADERSHIP

The Service and Sustainable Development Executive Committee (SSD Exec) is a leadership group at East, working on consolidating and strengthening Service & Sustainable Development systems and service learning. Students in this group apply for a position, complete an application questionnaire and undergo an interview process. 

They assist with making policy, communicating, educating, presenting and sharing service and sustainable development learning within the College and beyond. SSD Execs support community events such as UWC Day and Family Festival. They also step up in leadership and supporting roles at SSD events, help with presentations and coffee mornings and other events - prepare to be flexible! 

This student led group partners with multiple stakeholders in our college, local and global community to help achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals and work towards our mission for peace and a sustainable future.
