Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation is based in Hanoi, Vietnam. The NGO focuses on providing street children with education, nutrition, healthcare, counselling, physical and creative activities, rescue, legal advocacy and provides a safe shelter. Their work is led by a team of social workers, psychologists, teachers and lawyers.
Blue Dragon GC works to raise awareness of Blue Dragon’s success stories. They read monthly newsletters and communicate regularly with the NGO. Past events organised by the GC included a collaboration with Blue Dragon to host a Circus performance that raised awareness and funds for their youth development programmes, and an annual Blue Dragon Walk-a-thon.

The CPAA (Cancer Patients Aid Association), or the “Cancer Patients Aid Association” is a 50-year-old non-profit organisation which works side-by-side with the medical fraternity, focusing on activities encompassing awareness, early detection, support for treatment, guidance and counselling, rehabilitation, research studies and advocacy. The primary concern of CPAA is to meet the needs of low income cancer patients who do not have access nor can afford cancer treatment.
Cancer Awareness GC addresses the third Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG), Good and Health Well-being by advocating for low income cancer patients and raising money for the CPAA by selling baked goods and organising an annual Movember competition.

Daraja Academy helps women and girls in Kenya by providing them with an education. Their mission is to educate and empower girls from poverty to become community leaders. Without secondary education, the girls are often sent into premature marriages and pregnancies. Daraja believes education is the bridge out of poverty hence the name ‘Daraja which means ‘bridge’.
This Global Concern aims to raise awareness and advocate for gender equality and girl’s education. This is in line with SGD 4, Quality Education, and SGD 5, Gender equality. We take part in annual activities such as Run for Rights, Family Festival and WISH classes in order to raise funds and advocate for Daraja in the UWCSEA community. The GC spends time finding new ways to communicate both directly and indirectly with the girls at Daraja. The GC implements more direct methods of communication with the girls such as gmeet calls and pen pal letters.

Epic Arts GC supports its namesake, Epic Arts NGO in Kampot, Cambodia, which is committed to educating and empowering people to see ability, not disability. Their actions align with SDG 4, Quality Education and 10, Reduce Inequalities. They provide professional dance, drama, music and arts programmes to people of all abilities, in order to promote empowerment, integration and acceptance.
Epic Arts GC supports the Epic Arts Social Enterprise program that runs Epic Arts Café, Epic Encounters and Epic Creation Shop. Funds raised are used to support the Inclusive Education Program. This funding supports Epic Arts to be sustainable, to provide jobs for people with disability and to ensure the future of Epic Arts as an organization.

Gili Eco Trust GC partners with an NGO of the same name that is dedicated to the protection of the marine ecosystem of the 3 Gili Islands, Indonesia. Notable initiatives include the usage of biorocks in coral regeneration and reef propagation and the Green Patrol, that educates local communities and businesses about refuse, reduce, reuse, recycle.
Our GC’s primary focus is to educate students about the basics of marine biology and damage caused by overfishing and pollutants. We raise awareness, funds and advocate for these issues in the UWCSEA community, by collaborating with Jakarta Street Kids and SurfAid to organise Swimdonesia. We also sell eco Surf Mud in the school shop, at the Holiday Fair and Family Festival. Students joining this service can expect to develop one’s interpersonal, planning, advocacy, oratory and writing skills depending on what sub-teams they choose to engage with.

The Goonj Service partners with NGO Goonj in India. We work towards increasing the provision of Clean Water and Sanitation in rural parts of the country, particularly in line with SDG's 3, 6, 12 and 15. Our mission is to raise awareness about the issue of accessing clean water and sanitation which we aim to do through awareness campaigns and drama plays/skits regarding the issue held annually.

The Green Umbrella NGO operates on the outskirts of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, with a focus on improving educational standards for children of kindergarten age and young people. They are actively involved in teaching students at the Karuna Kumar School, which was established through a collaboration with UWCSEA.
To raise funds and increase awareness, the Green Umbrella GC organizes an annual Gratitude Gram sale. This event involves the sale of food, serving as a way to appreciate the members of the community within UWCSEA. Our GC seeks individuals who are passionate about graphic design, leadership, and finance, as they believe that such skills can greatly benefit their cause.
Green Umbrella GC supports the NGO's Early Childhood Education (ECE) initiative for 4- and 6-year-olds aims to increase young children's enrolment and enhance education quality, beginning with early childhood education, as well as their Youth Program which provides supplemental programming to the public school for our community's youth.

I-India is an NGO based in Jaipur, India that aims to empower and protect street children and women who often run away from their homes because of abuse, child marriage and child labour. These children and women then take refuge in I-India’s homes, whilst also being provided with food, emotional support and education, which allows the women and children to start a new life, and eventually break out of the poverty cycle.
I-India GC in High School aims to support the NGO through raising awareness and hosting events in exciting and creative ways that reflect and support the I-India cause. This includes organising “Umang” an art competition that raises awareness and funds to support I-India causes. JAAGO GC supports the JAAGO Foundation, a Bangladeshi NGO that supports the education needs of children and families from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds. They support the families by covering school materials, living and teaching costs, through sponsorships. They also conduct several projects to empower women and children to increase employment opportunities for impoverished communities in Bangladesh.
JAAGO GC partners with the JAAGO Foundation by sponsoring five children’s education annually, supporting the creation of extracurricular activities, teaching aids / strategies and providing materials such as books, stationary, and repurposed computers. In addition the GC raises awareness of socio economic issues in Bangladesh and the NGOs youth development and education programs.

Our student-led GC is actively involved in raising funds to support XS Project's educational, health care initiatives and waste-to-product design projects. These initiatives are crucial in creating more sustainable communities and empowering individuals with new skills and income opportunities. Jakarta Street Kids at East is a vibrant group perfect for students passionate about environmental sustainability, social justice, and creative solutions to complex problems.

Kampot Khmer GC partners with Chumkriel Language School (CLS) in Kampot, Cambodia. CLS provides English classes, computer skills, vocational training, health care, food security and assistance with shelter building for children and their families trapped in poverty in the community. CLS aims to provide a holistic education, allowing the children to learn arts and sports as well as other 21st Century Skills. They also run a soup kitchen, health programmes, an organic farm, dance classes, and basketball and football programmes to support community needs and wellbeing.
The GC supports CLS teacher training courses, scholarship students, evening school teachers, and shelter repair. The relationship that UWCSEA has with the scholars is a long term partnership, enabling access to education that helps children break the cycle of poverty while deepening our friendship.

Kuma Cambodia NGO is in Takhmau, Cambodia, 20 minutes outside of Phnom Penh. The NGO provides access to education, medical and dental checkups to children due to extreme poverty, or living in a dysfunctional family. Kuma provides a holistic education so that these children can realise their potential. Kuma GC group raises awareness about this community and are committed to professional development for the staff. They support educational programmes and assist with a range of developmental projects that care for and educate the children. The GC has supplied teaching resources, first aid kits and training, and have worked collaboratively on upgrading facilities at the school.

Ladakh GC partners with Lamdon School in the remote community of Ladakh, India. The Lamdon school provides Ladakhi children with a holistic, quality education of both the academic curriculum and the cultural foundations of the Ladakh community. In the past we have raised funds for upgrading of the school’s infrastructure, such as musical instruments, sports equipment, resources and the construction of an ‘innovation lab’. Currently we are contributing to the scholarship programme.
Our main event is ‘Run for Rights’, a sponsored running event for students, parents and staff of all ages. We collaborate with Daraja and ACE GC to organise this event, which raises funds and advocates for access to quality education and gender equality. By joining this GC, you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of actions, including direct, indirect, advocacy and research. In this GC you will learn about Ladakhi culture, while simultaneously impacting the lives of Ladakhi children.

Smiles of China GC partners with New Hope Foundation which is an NGO in Henan Province that cares for children from marginalised communities. They support the local community by employing and training child caretakers who provide direct nanny care to the children. Each nanny bonds with the three children she cares for. Nannies are responsible for feeding, bathing and playing with their children.
Smiles of China GC raises awareness and funds to pay the salaries of nannies through celebrating and selling traditional food and drinks at Chinese cultural celebrations throughout the year. In joining our GC, students will have the chance to develop entrepreneurial, management, communication and advocacy skills.

SurfAid is a non-profit humanitarian organisation whose aim is to improve the health, wellbeing and self-reliance of people living in isolated regions connected to Surfaid through surfing. SurfAid raises awareness and funds to support remote communities in Rote island, Indonesia to sustainably address the high incidence of stunting in children under 5.
UWCSEA has partnered with Surfaid for more than ten years by raising both awareness and funds that go directly to the Surfaid international team. One of our main events is Swimdonesia, formally known as Swim 4 Life, where participants swim as many laps as they would like and collect sponsorships from those around them in order to donate. Over the last several years we have raised close to $100,000.

Tiger Watch GC is focused on helping to save the critically endangered Sumatran tiger. There are estimated to be less than 400 left in the wild today. We support Forum Harimaukita, an Indonesian NGO aimed at researching and ultimately conserving the Sumatran tiger, which is struggling due to habitat destruction and poaching. The Sumatran tiger is the only surviving tiger population in the Sunda Islands, where the Bali and Javan tigers are extinct.
Our GC raises awareness and funding for Forum Harimaukita by organising educational activities for the UWCSEA community. One example of this is an Amazing Race that we coordinate for High School grade levels during PSE mentor time. In the past we tried to organise a mobile phone drive to track tigers in Ranthambore National Park.

Try4Cambodia GC partners with Kampuchea Balopp in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, an NGO that uses rugby as a means to educate Cambodian children about social inclusion, respect, teamwork, gender equality, and a healthy lifestyle. The NGO works with disadvantaged youths from 11 to 20 years old. Every week, up to 2000 children, both disabled and able-bodied, are empowered through structured activities with training provided by Kampuchea Balopp.
Try4Cambodia GC raises awareness for Kampuchea Balopp and helps to make connections between rugby clubs in Singapore and the NGO. They aim to provide financial support through the sale of products made from recycled rugby balls among other sustainable products. Try4Cambodia also facilitates donation drives to provide the children with proper playing equipment and kit. The GC runs annual sporting events on campus to promote gender equality, wellness, and fun.

Starting in 2015, Voices for Refugees stands for and with the unspoken. Our aim is to raise awareness and advocate for refugee rights and human rights around the world. Students have the opportunity to discuss, research and take action on issues of importance where disempowered groups have been denied a voice. In the past we have hosted annual events, our most well known being Write for Rights, a 24-hour writing marathon in which we write letters to different heads of state and leaders about human rights abuses in their respective regions. Together, we aim to connect with and give a voice to refugees and marginalised groups all across the world.
This year we will also be raising funds and awareness for the NGO Cahaya Surya Bakti (CSB). CSB is a registered Malaysian Society founded with the vision of providing community-based support and assistance to the refugee population in the state of Johor, Malaysia. The funds raised will be used to support CSB to cover educational and operational expenses including teaching staff, and transportation.
