Chef White’s Diner

Chef White’s Diner in the Atrium is the hub of activity offering a wide range of foods and drinks for all needs.

Open 8.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday.

• Costa Counter serving all your favourite Costa drinks including the latest Costa promotions. We have a range of freshly baked croissants or pastries and homemade cakes available at counter.

• Breakfast baps and sausage rolls served from 8.00am - 10.00am.

• Healthier breakfast options – Banana loaf with fruit and yoghurt, granola pots or a freshly made smoothie.

• Grab and Go counter open from 9.00am offering range of meat or veggie slices/nachos and a selection of Paninis

• The cold counter has a range of sandwiches, wraps, bagels and toasties. Fruit pots and desserts.

• Hot lunch served from 12.00pm – 2.00pm.

• £2.41 meal deals available. Sandwich, crisps with bottled water. Jacket potato, filling and bottled water. Meat/Veggie hot meal.

• Concept Bar offering street foods. Messy Fries. Protein Boxes. Build a Burger. Greek Mezze and more. Look out for daily specials.

• Chips, Cheesy Chips, Jackets available also.

• Self- service salad bar open from 11.30am.

• Homemade soup station open from 11.00am.

• A wide range of cold drinks and confectionary available.

• Vegan, Veggie, Gluten free snack counter.

• Vending machines on the ground floor South Block. Cold drinks / crisps, confectionary and hot drinks vending. North block ground floor for cold drinks, 1st floor for crisps, confectionary and hot drinks vending. These take cash and card payment.

Chefs’ Whites Deli

Chefs’ Whites Deli is a café style outlet run by students on Catering courses in the Atrium. It is open term-time Tuesday to Friday 10:00am-2:00pm all snacks such as pizzas, sandwiches, salads and cakes, are made by students.

Chefs' Whites Restaurant is open term-time, and opens Tuesday to Friday for lunch 12-2pm (last sitting 1:15) and Wednesday and Thursday for evenings 6-9pm (7pm last sitting) and provides a lunch/dinner menu in a restaurant setting on the first floor of the North building. Chefs' Whites should be open from late September.

Main Dining Room

The main dining room is open from 8:30-3:30 providing an early breakfast served from 8:30-9:30 with bacon/sausage and hash brown baps/baguettes and sausage rolls our full breakfast range is available from 10:00-11:00.

Hot Lunch with meat and vegetarian options, salad boxes, jacket potatoes with various fillings and grab and go selection of hot snacks, soup and hot pasta is available from 12:00- 13:30 and dessert options and cakes are available.

Cold sandwiches and paninis will be available in fridges from 10:30am onwards.

Our coffee bar is situated in the main dining hall and offers bean coffee, hot chocolate, speciality teas and a selection of biscuits and cakes daily this is available 8:30-3:30 you can also find our confection range here which include crisps, fresh fruit, noodle pots and chocolate bars.

Rural café

In late September we will be opening our latest addition to the catering facility at our rural campus situated on the first floor of J block we have our grab and go café – this is open 9am-2:30pm offering breakfast snacks such as bacon/sausage or hash brown baps/baguettes and hot lunches such as burgers, pizza, chips and nachos changing daily. We are delighted to be able to offer Costa Coffee in this area with a self-service machine simply pay for your cup at the till and get the drink that you require.

Cold sandwiches, salads and confection items will still be available as well as cold drinks.

We have vending machines available around the campus please note that the majority of these do not currently accept card payments. The vending machines include confection machines for your sweet treats, tea and coffee hot drink machines and cold bottled drinks.
