Mobile phones and tablets are a useful learning tool and there are times when your teachers will ask you to use them in a learning session. This may be to research something, take part in a quiz or game or gather evidence for assessment.
However, we expect students NOT to use their mobile phones, tablets or hand held devices for any type of personal use whilst they are in a classroom or workshop or engaged in any type of learning activity. This includes texting, phone-calls or engaging with social media sites.
Students should not take photographs or videos of other students or staff within college without their consent. If you have consent you must be clear about what you intend to use the photo or video for and should only use it for this agreed reason.
You should be aware that inappropriate use of mobile phones/tablets or on-line resources are taken very seriously and will be dealt with under the Supporting Student Achievement Policy.
