Suffolk New College encourages students with learning difficulties/disabilities to declare these during application, interview or enrolment. This is so your needs can be assessed to enable us to offer you the support you require to access your course.
If you have an EHC plan, we will have already discussed with you how you will be supported during your time at college. If you have any queries about this please contact the Additional Learning Support Team.
If you have a learning difficulty/disability but have not yet told anyone at the College about it please tell your personal tutor or contact the Additional Learning Support Team, als@suffolk.ac.uk or go to the room next to the Learning Curve in the Atrium.
Your support needs will be reviewed and we will discuss with you how to support you in getting the most out of your learning. This will include independent strategies and teacher support.
Information about your specific needs will be shared with your tutors providing you are happy for us to do so.
