This past week at Hilton High School, students from all grades came together to celebrate a week of inclusion and acceptance among students, teachers, and the community. The Best Buddies program organized the week with a different theme for each day. Monday was the kick off celebrated by wearing red and black, Hilton school colors, to create excitement among Cadets from all groups in the school. Tuesday, people wore purple to celebrate friendship. Wednesday was camouflage day supporting all those with unseen disabilities in the community. On Thursday, students celebrated LGBTQ pride wearing all the colors from the rainbow. Lastly, on Friday, Hilton High School students and staff dressed in green to #breakthestigma - and show more overall support for our school and community. The message of the week was to be more inclusive and remember to spread kindness in our school and community.
