This quote is something that stuck out to me. It means, to me, that if I make mistakes I can learn from them. I don’t feel embarrassed after, instead I just look at the good things I’ve done and think to myself that I have made a difference. It helps me to see the people that I have helped and how I may have changed their lives by helping them.
This quote also stood out to me because it says “Life’s a test” and I thought, to myself, that life is a test, it challenges everyone who plays it’s game and If you keep dogging it’s challenges it won’t be fun.
Tupac Shakur was a legendary rapper who was murdered at age 25. He was a poet before he was a rapper and his songs were very motivational. He seems like he was happy all the time. His poems are very deep and meaningful, making him easily quotable. This quote in particular stuck out to me, again, when I think of this quote I feel like life is a game and we are all it’s pieces. That is how I think Tupac saw the world.
When I asked people what this quote meant to them several responded with, “I don’t know.” However, when I asked some people that have heard of Tupac’s music, here were the responses:
“we all make mistakes but when we look back onto those mistakes we know that we made a difference in life.” says Kayla Holley 12th grade.
“We as human beings make mistakes all the time and when we help other people from making other mistakes we know that we made a difference in their life” says Alexander Ortiz 10th grade.
“There will be negatives in your life but if you find your purpose the positives in life will always prevail” Mr.Miller an English teacher.
Consider checking out more than just Tupac’s music. His book of poems, The Rose That Grew From Concrete is available in our library.
