Service Proposal Overview: Creating Music-Based Activities that Reinforce Content Outside of the Music Room
Who: K-6 Elementary students in my school in Northeast Wyoming.
What: Develop music-based activities that will help reinforce general classroom content, school-wide policies or programs (PBIS, Character Strong, etc.) Type of activities will be based on teacher need.
Past Experience with this population: 3 years of working in this school.
Possible Experts: General classroom teachers, school counselor, principal, technology facilitator, other music teachers in the district.
Why:
I am interested to see if the music-based activities we create collaboratively will make a difference in content reinforcement/memory.
This project will utilize UDL guidelines, especially in multiple means of engagement and representation, as we create music-based activities that are accessible to all in our school.
