Who - Students taking voice lessons
The need - The student struggles with dedicating time to practice and what to do during that time. The goal is to give them a checklist that outlines how and what to practice and gives them something physical to turn in to keep them accountable.
What
One sheet of paper for the week.
Checklist format of what to do and how much time to spend on it.
Overall weekly objective at the top of the page.
Music - This is specifically designed to assist a student in organizing and committing to practicing the music that is required for the semester.
UDL - This activity is designed to heighten the salience of goals and objectives that falls under “Multiple Means of Engagement.”
SEL - This falls under the “Self-Management” umbrella of SEL, giving the student tools to set goals and use planning and organizational skills.

Create a generic handout as a template with the following

Breakdown of four 20-minute practice sessions to be completed during the week with space to write in specific literature goals that can change as the semester progresses
