Food & Drink

North Campus

There are four ASUCLA Restaurants on North Campus. The two largest locations are the North Campus Student Center (with Northern Lights Coffee House) and Lu Valle Commons (with Jimmy’s Coffee House). North Campus Student Center is near the Young Research Library; Lu Valle Commons is between the School of Law and the Luskin School of Public Affairs. Both offer a full range of entrees, including salads, pizza and grill.

Two smaller cafes offer light meals, coffee and tea: Café 451 is inside the Young Research Library; Untitled is inside the Broad Art Center (yes, the name is an art joke).

Il Tramezzino is part of a small chain of restaurants. It’s an Italian café with indoor and outdoor seating, in the Anderson School complex.

Central Campus

There are multiple ASUCLA Restaurants on Central Campus. Kerckhoff Coffee House (2nd floor Kerckhoff Hall) offers Baskin Robbins ice cream, light meals, and the coffee and tea you would expect.

Terrace Food Court (1st Floor Ackerman Union) offers the Greenhouse, Sbarro, Panda Express, Rubio's, Rx Candy Coated Cures, Wetzel's Pretzels and Relaxation. There’s a Wolfgang Puck as well, for upscale meals including beer and wine.

Avenue A (A-level Ackerman Union) offers Taco Bell, Curbside, Carl's Jr., Jamba Juice and Bruin Buzz Coffee Bar. For Asian specialties, Tsunami is down the hall near the Viewpoint Lounge.

South Campus

Most of the eating choices on South Campus are also ASUCLA Restaurants. The largest is the Court of Sciences Student Center (opposite Boyer Hall). There’s a Subway and a Yoshinoya there, as well as home-grown offerings like Fusion, Bombshelter Bistro and Southern Lights coffee.

Smaller restaurants include Café Synapse in the Gonda (Goldschmied) Neuroscience & Genetics Research Center, and Terasaki Café in the Terasaki Life Sciences Building.

Cafe by the SEAS (5800E Boelter Hall) is run by Engineering students.
