This trip is optional, and open to ALL students enrolled in band, colorguard, orchestra, choir, mariachi & theatre. There is no fundraising for this trip, it is funded by families wishing to send their student to Corpus with Berkner Fine Arts!

We are still accepting deposits through November 10. Payments can be made online through Presto... simply email Mr. Schayot at jason.schayot@risd.org to request being added to the trip list!
Accomodations: Port Royal Ocean Resort, Port Aransas

Rooming: Five or six students per room. Traditional rooming: 5-6 males per room, or 5-6 females per room.

Transportation: Charter Buses will be the mode of transport to and from Corpus Christi.

The 2024 Corpus Trip will include performances by the Berkner Bands as well as a three-night condominium stay on Mustang Island.

The Berkner Fine Arts Department will all be traveling together for this trip.

Friday: load charter buses, travel and shop at a Corpus grocery store for all meals in condos.

Saturday: performances by bands and orchestras and beach time in the evening!

Sunday: excursions to souvenir shops, beach time and a DJ Dance at FunTrackers on Sunday evening

The cost of the trip is $500.00 a student.

Be advised that any money paid towards the Corpus Trip will first be applied to any outstanding band fees before a “trip deposit” is officially registered with the BABC for spring travel.
