Studied Technical Theatre at Guildhall School of Music & Drama

And what are you doing now?

MD of a theatre consultancy business, Preevue. Worked on a number of West End and Broadway productions including Harry Potter, Hamilton, Les Mis, and Moulin Rouge.

Are the skills you developed while studying A-level physics helpful in what you're doing now?

Absolutely. I was referencing physics equations all the time when I was originally writing the software at the centre of what Preevue would become. I still use those skills frequently, whether directly through programming or indirectly through the logical problem-solving that is required with both coding and managing a business.

Favourite memory of QE physics?

Although I wasn't the best... I don't think there was a physics lessons I didn't enjoy.

Anything else that you think a 16-year-old thinking of studying physics at QE might want to know?

The jump in difficulty from GCSE to A-Level is much greater than you'd expect.
