What did you do immediately after leaving QE?
Went to start a master's degree in mathematics at the University of Warwick
And what are you doing now?

Are the skills you developed while studying A-level physics helpful in what you're doing now?
On the maths course I'm doing at uni, it's really handy to know bits and bobs from physics for analogies and examples, for instance: ideas from electricity and magnetism in studying vector fields. Not always, but I've got a slight advantage sometimes over workmates who didn't do A-level physics, and all of them regret not doing it.
Favourite memory of QE physics?
Several demonstrations come to mind, including walking through interference patterns caused by two speakers. I fondly remember asking all sorts of questions to my teachers, and always getting an answer or an interesting discussion. Also, Brian's demonstration of transferring electrons to a polythene rod was very entertaining and memorable.
Anything else that you think a 16-year-old thinking of studying physics at QE might want to know?
There are easier A-levels to choose from, but physics is certainly one of the most rewarding. Ask the right questions, don't be afraid to ask for help, and probably most importantly, do the work!
