Undergrad and masters degree in sports and exercise

Sports scientist at Darlington FC
Are the skills you developed while studying A-level physics helpful in what you're doing now?
Believe it or not, physics underpins a lot of what we do in sports. I guess that’s why I like the job I’m in now. The marriage of sports and science.
Favourite memory of QE physics?
Doing experiments that explain why things happen. Without doubt doing the experiments were the best bit.
Anything else that you think a 16-year-old thinking of studying physics at QE might want to know?
Physics underpins a lot of things, taking physics doesn’t just mean you are interested in a career in science. Science can be applied to a lot if not most things. If you are stuck between physics and say for instance sports, there is always a possibility you can do both. Just do the subjects that interest you, and the rest will take care of itself. If you do the things you like, you will stumble across the job you want to do, not what you think you want to do.
