Not sure whether to pick Modern or Tudor?
It’s very much a personal preference. Studying Modern and Tudor History will give you the same qualification and you will sit similar examinations. Both courses are enjoyable, varied and appeal to everyone. The main difference is the content. Some students want to find out about the modern world, while others want to study something completely different and choose the Tudor option, which could be a good choice if you are thinking of going on to study History at university. Some students have not studied History at GCSE and will pick the course which interests them most. Whichever course you choose, we are sure you will find it interesting, challenging and stimulating.
Please note: you can study either A level Tudor History or A level Modern History at QE, but you can't choose both. Sorry!
