RESOURCE PROGRAMMING ROLES

Resource Teacher

The majority of resource teacher time is spent supporting classroom teachers and staff through coaching, modeling, collaborating and consulting in identifying ,developing, and applying assessment and instructional intervention strategies and programs designed to improve or to enrich student learning. Resource teachers help address diversity, support in classrooms and create programming. When it comes to direct student support, resource teachers develop student profiles and specific plans, advocate for students and help with transition planning.

For any inquires or questions about resource, please reach out to Mrs. Tanya Labossiere.

Student Support Teacher

Mrs. Sam Brown is our schools student support teacher. This role is an extension of resource helping classrooms with co-teaching, small group and 1-1 supports.

Literacy & Numeracy Leaders

Mrs Lisa Carlson (literacy) as Ms Ashley Cook (numeracy) are excited to spend some time in their schedule with students from a variety of grade levels working on enhancing, improving and celebrating various projects, skills and concepts. It is a treat getting to know a number of students throughout our awesome little school! This time is used to both aid students who need some extra support and for enrichment opportunities too.
